Prenatal Appointment #8

I had my 8th prenatal appointment yesterday. Everything is looking great! I am so very blessed with such "easy" pregnancies - I have some aches and pains and I feel like I am always exhausted - but those are nothing to complain about!

Blood pressure is "perfect" according to the nurse; no swelling to report and doctor says that weight gain is "excellent"! The baby's heartbeat was in the 140s - so it is the same as it has been, with the exception of the one visit when it was 136. I measured at 34 inches - which is perfect for being 34 weeks and 4 days along. I am basically measuring average as far as the baby's growth. I asked the doctor today if he had any "guesstimates" on weight and he said unless I just "take off" in growth over the next little bit - he'd guess around the same as Brooklyn - she was 7 lbs 7 oz...He estimated that right now the baby probably weighs in around 4 1/2 pounds, which is the average weight of a baby at this point in a pregnancy..

Total weight gain to date: 30.2 pounds

I go back in 2 weeks, at which time I will be just about 36 weeks 4 days along! They will do the Group B Strep test at this time (which I've tested positive for with both of my other pregnancies)! After this next 2 week visit - I will be on once a week visits..
