I had my 5th prenatal appointment. Today was my glucose test to check for gestational diabetes! I drank the yummy glucose drink and had my blood drawn and should get those results at the next visit - unless there is a problem and then they will all be before.

Everything continues to look good. The baby's heart rate was in the 140s. I am at the point where they use the tape measure to measure my belly - but I didn't think to ask what my measurement was and he didn't tell me (note to self: ask next time)! The doctor did inform me that I was getting to that point to where I was going to start showing....I kind of just looked at him like really!?!?! I got a good chuckle. He said this is the point where the baby will start putting on about a pound every couple of weeks!!! I have one more 4-week appointment and then I will be going every 2 weeks and then it will be once a week and then the baby will arrive!!!

I know this is older- but only 10 pounds!?!! How much did you gain with your 2 girls?
